Rather than retelling the original story of Jie Dongfeng, the work is rooted in the energy and rhythm of street dance to depict the concept of "freedom" found in classical Chinese aesthetics. It delves into the traditional Chinese cultural aspiration of "harmony between heaven and humanity, and forgetting oneself in nature." On this journey with the wind, the audience is invited to seek their own "east wind" within the confines of their limited lives.
