Solo Exhibition: Unbounded Skin Delight
It is the first solo exhibition of the emerging artist Zhang Chaoran, presenting his creation and research in the past two years. The artist took the "skin" as carrier, which people cannot ignore in daily life, the works expand to express different spatial dimensions and materials. Skin is the most external part of the body, as well as the inner barrier, more importantly the external representation of the spirit. Zhang Chaoran’s work contains poetic metaphors and constructs content that points to deep "healing".
The exhibition combines different spaces in the form of installation, painting and mixed media, extending the perspective of time and space to micro amplification, trying to rid the perspective of traditional and delicate viewing, and instead use multi-dimensional and dramatic scenes, so that the viewer can feel the uniqueness of Zhang's detachment in the interaction.
