Rising Artists Works

Rising Artists’ Works(R.A.W.!) of the China Shanghai International Arts Festival was established in 2012. As a leading platform in China for incubating original artistic works, it has commissioned 105 young artists from various fields, presenting 89 stage productions with diverse styles. The commissioned works have toured overseas 29 times to countries and regions such as the United States, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Australia, Israel, Norway, Romania, South Korea, Germany, and Hong Kong.

In 2024, Rising Artists’ Works will enter its second decade with a more innovative approach, more open attitude, and more inclusive spirit, focusing on supporting young artists worldwide. The program will provide comprehensive support for young artists, covering the entire process from incubation, creation, and performance to international promotion, helping them bring their works to a broader global stage.
