APP Immersive Theatre Duality (China/New Zealand)Oct.15th - Oct. 22nd,2016  Shanghai Theater Academy

As the first environment immersion APP interactive drama which regarded audience as the leading role, Duality combined with smart phone apps, SMS, Wechat video, live actors, brings the audience multi-dimensional exploration and the theatrical experience.  A pretty girl who is under much pressure, her sister works overtime everyday, a live webcast, a kidnapping, what’s the truth?  In order to celebrate the fifth year of R.A.W., STA and the CSIAF co-produced the special commissioned work Duality.  It’s based on New Zealand Storybox’s The Woman Who Forget.

 

Tong Tong

Tong graduated from New York University.  She is now a graduate student in Film Studies at Shanghai Theatre Academy.  She is a mainland Chinese actress, director, and screenwriter.  She is nominated as the Youth Ambassador to Fight against AlDS by UN.  Tong received Popular TV Golden Eagle Award for the Best Supporting Actress and won the Best Leading Actress Nomination.  During her study in the U.S, she has had two times bilingual MC experiences at Lincoln Center, Tong wrote and directed the Water lnk Theatre the Great Wall Poetry in 2013, the Pingtan Master received the Best Picture of Academy Award from the special unit of MIFF and SIFF.  The Multi Media Theatre the M Feast is officially selected as the Commissioned Work of the 16th R.A.W! in 2014.  In 2015, she wrote and directed the experimental short film The Gyroscope Man.  In 2016, Tong wrote and directed the App lmmersive Theatre Duality, which is the 5th anniversary Special Commissioned Production of the R.AW!
