Based on the relationship of the characters in the movie of the classic A Chinese Odyssey, the drama depicts, in the form of a comedy, the complicated on-and-off romance between the hero Zhi Zunbao (Monkey king)and the heroine ZiXia (a fairy )to express that true feelings of the world will come but once.
The whole play begins with a comedy skit, and brings the theme song "the love of life" in the middle, then goes with dance and martial arts performance.
