The black light puppet show The Very Hungry Caterpillar is adapted from the children’s picture book with the same name. It tells a story about how a caterpillar overcoming difficulties and becoming a butterfly. The show has been on tour for 15 years in more than 30 countries with an audience of over 5 million people. The 55-minute story and original music includes three parts: The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Little Cloud and The Mixed-Up Chameleon. The first one has showed over 3300 times in 13 countries including Holland, UK, Spain, Japan, Korea and France. Eric Carle reviews: “I’m a big fan of the Mermaid Theater.
